## How to Create a Consent Template

This guide will walk you through creating, signing, and managing consent records within Care Control Cloud.

#### Introduction

This guide explains how to create and manage Consent Templates within Care Control Cloud.

**In this guide you'll learn how to:**

- Create a new Consent Template
- Build consent content using placeholders
- Test consent templates
- Configure reminder frequencies
- Set default and active consent templates

#### Open Consent Templates from the Admin area.

#### Select Add Consent.

#### Enter the consent title.

#### Enter a short name.

#### Select Build Consent.

#### Enter the consent text.

#### Use placeholders to insert resident information.

#### Select a resident to test the template.

#### Select Test Template.

#### Select Save Changes.

#### Set the reminder frequency.

#### Set the template as default for new clients if required.

#### Enable the Active toggle.

#### Select Save to create the template.

#### Top tip

Use placeholders within your template to automatically populate resident information, reducing manual entry and ensuring consistency across consent records.
