## How to Sign In and Out Using Care Control Verify

Learn how to sign in and out using Care Control Verify, including entering your staff PIN, capturing your face and confirming your attendance.

#### Introduction

**Care Control Verify** provides a way for staff to record when they sign in and out of their care service using their usual staff PIN and facial capture.

When signing in or out, you'll be asked to enter your PIN and position your face within the on-screen square. A three-second countdown gives you time to prepare before your face is captured.

Once completed, the application will confirm your sign-in or sign-out, including the date and time.

**In this guide, you'll learn how to:**

- Enter your staff PIN to begin signing in.
- Position your face and complete facial capture.
- Confirm your sign-in date and time.
- Repeat the process to sign out.
- Confirm your sign-out date and time.

#### Enter Your PIN to Sign In

To begin signing in, enter your usual **staff PIN** on the screen.

#### Capture Your Face

Position your face within the square displayed on the screen and select **Capture Face**.

A **three-second countdown** will begin, giving you time to make sure your face is correctly positioned before the image is captured.

#### Confirm Your Sign-In

Once your face has been captured, Care Control Verify will display a confirmation that you have successfully **signed in**.

The confirmation includes the **date and time** of your sign-in.

#### Enter Your PIN to Sign Out

When you're ready to sign out, enter your usual **staff PIN** on the screen again.

#### Capture Your Face to Sign Out

Position your face within the on-screen square and select **Capture Face**.

You'll have a **three-second countdown** to ensure you're correctly positioned before your face is captured.

#### Confirm Your Sign-Out

Once your face has been captured, Care Control Verify will confirm that you have successfully **signed out**.

The confirmation will display the **date and time** of your sign-out, completing the process.

#### Top tip

Make sure your face is clearly visible and positioned within the square before selecting Capture Face. You'll have a three-second countdown to get into position.
