# Enabling Voice Typing on Android & Apple

## Activating Voice Typing

This guide will cover how to activate Voice typing on both Mobile and Pocket when using Android and Apple devices.

## Android Devices

## Step 1:

When on an Android device, scroll down from the top of the screen and select the **Settings**icon.

## Step 2:

Scroll down until you see **System** and select it.

## Step 3:

Select **Keyboard.**

## Step 4:

Select **On-Screen keyboard.**

## Step 5:

Toggle on **Google Voice Typing** and then select **Gboard.**

## Step 6:

Now select **Voice typing.**

## Step 7:

Toggle on **Use voice typing.** 

You will now be able to use voice-to-text when using Care Control Pocket and Mobile.

## iOS Devices

## Step 1:

Go to **Settings**.

## Step 2:

Select the **General** option.

## Step 3:

Now select **Keyboard.**

## Step 4:

Turn on **Enable Dictation.**
