Adding an Event Type

This guide will cover how to add custom Event Types to use on your calendar within Care Control Windows.

In the Administration of Care Control Windows, navigate to the Events tool, which can be found under the Communication tab.

A new window will open. Here, a list of the current event types on your system will be displayed.

To add a new one, simply scroll to the bottom of the list.

There will be a blank row at the bottom. Begin by typing in the name of the event type, before pressing the Event Colour box next to it.

From this window, you can also Archive the event type (remove it from the list when creating an event), as well as Exclude from Calendar, which means that events of this type will now show on the calendar.

Choose a colour from the options displayed. This is the colour which will be displayed on your calendar for this event type.

To save, simply close the colour selection window and then the events type window. You will receive a confirmation message that your records have been saved.
