Editing or Removing a Note

This guide will cover how to amend or delete a note from a service users Care Plan. This can be useful if an error has been made when recording information or if information needs to be changed since the time of recording.

In the Administration of Care Control Windows, open the Care Plan Corrections tool, which can be found under the Care Planning tab.

First, select the Service User you wish to amend or remove a note for, then, choose Note from the care plan area.

To edit a note, select Edit in the third drop-down list.

A list of recent notes will appear. You can search for one using the search box or select one from the recent list. The Note Details can now be edited in the box below. After making any changes, press Process Change.

If removing a note, the same process applies to find the relevant note.

After selecting the note, press Process Changes to remove it from the service users care plan.
