Exceptional Lines in Payroll

This guide will cover how to add Exceptional Lines in a payroll report. These can be used to add time and pay to a staff member, for example, if a payroll issue has been resolved accidently.

In the Administration of Care Control Windows, navigate to the Load Payroll tool, which can be found under the Time & Attendance tabs.

A new window will open containing the information for your current payroll period.

Press the Show Detail button to reveal some further information and options.

Here, press the green button next to Exceptional Lines.

A new window will open. Press Add Extra Line to create a new one.

First, select the Staff Member from the drop-down list and enter a description of the new exception.

Next, enter the Amount (£) and Number of Hours associated with this exception.

Finally, you can choose whether to exclude this for holiday calculations as well as whether this exception will be recurring.

Press Save Changes after completing the form.

Your new exception will appear in the list.

You can Edit the line if necessary.
