Getting Started with Biometrics
Please note that this documentation exists only for customers with Fingerprint Biometrics already – we no longer offer this product, but instead offer Facial Recognition bundles

The biometric set up requires a Windows Vista / XP / 7 / 8 / 10 device, alongside a supported USB Fingerprint scanner (we recommend the SecuGen Hamster series).

You can download the Care Control Biometric software from our downloads page:

After installing the CC Biometric software, plug in the USB Fingerprint scanner to your laptop/computer device.

Next, open the CC Biometric software. Enter your Site Code and press Confirm.
If you are presented with a message stating that a biometric license is not active, please contact Care Control Support.

A PIN screen will be displayed. Enter your Care Control PIN.

Next, place your finger on the scanner to complete sign in.
You have now completed the CC Biometric set up. You can now configure the settings for staff signing in via Care Control Windows. Please see the following guide:
