Payroll Salary

This guide will cover how to set up a salary for a staff member via the payroll system on Care Control Windows.

In the Administration of Care Control Windows, navigate to the Manage Pay Rates tool, which can be found under the Time & Attendance tab.

A new window will open, here, find the staff member you wish to add a salary for via the blue arrows, or, press full staff list.

Next, press Edit Pay Rates.

A table will open containing the staff members current and historic pay rates. 

You will need to enter an end date for the current pay rate and then add a start date in the next row for the new rate. The date cannot be the same as the previous end date, and must be the following, consecutive day.

For example, if the old pay rate ends 29/11/23 then the new rate must start 30/11/23.

Finally, enter the yearly salary in the dedicated column. When a salary is entered, any other hourly rates will be ignored by the system.

The salary is fixed regardless of the pay period. It should be entered as a total salary for the year. It will then be divided by 12. If your pay periods vary or if you pay a variable salary based on pay period length you will need to manually adjust the salary.

Press Save Changes after making any amendments.
