Recording a Calendar Event – Care Control Learning Hub

Recording a Calendar Event

This guide will cover how to record an event on your calendar within Care Control Windows. This could be a nurse visiting, service user birthday or staff meeting.

1

In the Administration of Care Control Windows, navigate to the Add/Amend Calendar Entry tool, which can be found under the Communication tab.

2

A new window will open. Here, any events for today will show. You can look at future or past days via the blue arrows at the top of the window.

To record a new one, press Add New Event for this Day.

3

A blank event form will open.

Begin by selecting the Event Type from the drop-down list. Then, enter a Description and confirm the Date & Time in the section below.

4

Finally, you can choose to associate the event with a client.

Tick whether to add a Care Plan Note and then press Change to select associated clients if necessary.

5

A list of your clients will be displayed. Simply select those associated and press Update.

6

You can create recurring calendar entries by opening the Advanced Tab on the event creation form.

This will launch the custom task window. The information will carry over from the form, including the task type, name and date. To make it recurring, click on the Recurrence tab.

7

Here, you can configure how often this event will recur. In this example, we have set it to occur Weekly on a Monday.

After completing the event set-up, press Save Task.

8

Your new, recurring event will appear on the configured days.

9

If the event is a one off, simply ignore the Advanced tab and press Save Event Details.

10

Your event will now show on the chosen day. You can edit it by opening it via the blue arrow on the right hand side of the event.
