Recording an Invoice

This guide will cover how to create an invoice for your service user via Care Control Windows. This could be care costs or mileage costs for staff visiting service users. The payment of these invoices is covered in a following guide.

In the Administration of Care Control Windows, navigate to the Raise an Invoice tool, which can be found under the Income tab.

A new window will open. Here, begin by selecting a Service User from the drop down list.

You can the choose whether to invoice the service user themselves or a key contact of theirs.

Next, press Add Invoice Line to add content to your invoice form.

A new window will open.

Here, you can select an invoice line to add to the invoice. This will auto-populate the fields below, however you can change the quantity of the invoice line.

After adding the information, press Add / Update Line.

This line will populate the form. You can continue to add lines as necessary.

When happy with the invoice form, press Update.

Press OK on the confirmation message.

The invoice will be saved as a draft.

It can be finalised for payment by pressing Finalise.

Press Yes on the confirmation message.
