Recording COVID Checks
for Service Users

This guide will cover how to set up and complete COVID checks for your service users.

1

In the Administration of Care Control Windows, navigate to Manage Monitoring, which can be found under the Common Options and Care Planning tabs.

2

A new window will open. Here, select a service user from the left hand list, then press Add New.

3

From the drop-down list, select COVID-19 Check, then press Continue.

4

A new window will open. Here, you can enter information regarding the new monitoring. You can amend the duration and frequency, as well as give a Reason for Starting Monitoring.

Finally, press Start Monitoring.

5

Now we have set up the monitoring, we can move to Care Control Mobile to record a check.

After signing in, press View Home Status.

6

Within your Home Status, tap Resident Care Tasks to view service user-related monitoring tasks. Depending on how the COVID Check has been set up, you will be notified here when the check is due.

Simply tap on the task to complete it.

7

A blank form will open. Here, you can enter the Time, Current Temperature and select whether the service user has Any Associated Cough

8

If a high temperature is entered, the system will prompt you to record a second temperature.

9

If the second temperature is different, the system will advise that the recording device needs calibrating.

10

If the second temperature matches the first, and both are high, the system will advise that the service user could have COVID-19.

After completing the check, select Save Record.
