Recruitment - Messages

This guide will cover how to view messages from, and send messages to, applicants to your job adverts within the Recruitment tool on Care Control Windows. This allows for easier tracking of the hiring process and creates dialogue between both parties involved.

Within the Recruitment tool on Care Control Windows, navigate to the Messages tab.

Here, a list of your current applicants will be displayed. To view and send messages, select the applicant and press View Messages.

Previous dialogue between staff and the applicant will appear in the grey area of the window. 

You will be able to see the senders name, time and date of sending as well as the content of the message.

To send a new message, select a Template from the drop-down list, or, write your own message in the text box.

Then, press Send Message.

Your sent message will appear in the dialogue area.

Notice how the message says ‘unread‘ next to it. This means the applicant has not yet seen it.

The applicant will receive an email to notify they have a new message. From there, they will be able to respond accordingly.

Their replies will appear in the dialogue area.

Notice how the message we sent no longer says ‘unread’.
