Introduction
Care Control Gateway includes keyboard shortcuts to make navigating the application quicker and easier. These can be used to open commonly used areas such as Home, My Hub and Service Status, as well as helping you navigate backwards or access Administrator settings.
You can also use your keyboard or numeric keypad when entering a PIN, allowing you to sign in without selecting each number on screen.

- Understand when keyboard shortcuts may not be available.
Use these keyboard shortcuts to navigate Care Control Gateway.

Use your keyboard to enter your PIN.

| 0–9 | Enter PIN digits |
| Numeric keypad 0–9 | Enter PIN digits, regardless of Num Lock |
| Backspace or Delete | Remove the last digit |
| Escape | Close the PIN window, when permitted |
Keyboard shortcuts will respect your current access and permissions.
Shortcuts respect your current login state, permissions and the menu options available to you. If an option isn't currently available to your account, its shortcut will not bypass those restrictions.
Administrator access still requires your normal security details.
Using Alt + A opens Administrator access, but you will still need to enter the normal PIN and password before accessing Administrator settings.
Navigation shortcuts are temporarily unavailable while a modal window is open.
If a modal window is currently open in Gateway, navigation shortcuts will be temporarily ignored. Close or complete the window before using a navigation shortcut.
Top tip
Keyboard shortcuts will only open areas that are available to you based on your current login state and permissions. Administrator access still requires the usual PIN and password.
