ODS Contacts on Cloud

This guide will cover how to add contacts associated with a healthcare organisation. This requires the organisation’s ODS code in order to populate some of the information in the form.

Within the Admin application on Care Control Cloud, navigate to the Communication area.

Here, select Contacts.

A list of the contacts currently on your system will be displayed, press Add Contact to record a new one.

The requirement for an ODS code only applies to contacts associated with a healthcare organisation, for example, a pharmacy.

Begin by selecting the Category for your new contact.

If a healthcare organisation category is selected, the option to enter an ODS code will appear.

Press the information icon to launch the NHS Digital ODS Portal, where you can search for the organisation and retrieve the appropriate ODS code.

After finding and entering the correct ODS code for the organisation, enter it in the dedicated ODS Code box, then, press the Search icon.

This will populate the greyed out sections of the contact form. These cannot be amended manually and pull information directly from the NHS Digital ODS Portal.

You can continue to enter in other relevant information about your new contact, for example their name, number and email address.

After completing the form, press Save Changes.
