Understanding eMAR
This guide covers how to set up the core eMAR settings via the admin side of the app. These settings include options for cream administration, medication window time, scheduling and medication safety times.

This guide will cover how to navigate the eMAR application, including the options available on a Service Users MAR sheet.

A list of your service users will be displayed, select one from here.

On the left hand-side of the table is a list of the medication for that service user.

On the right hand-side of the table you can see the administration status for each day, for each medication. Staff initials will show in the box if administered, as well as some other status messages, including if it is late, if the service user is sleeping and others.

You can use the blank space on the right of the form to scroll up and down.

Between the administration status and the medication are buttons to view further information about the prescription.

A new window will be displayed, showing the information about the prescription, as well as an option to view More Details about the medication in the prescription.

When back on the MAR sheet, you can print the MAR by selecting the Options button.

This will open a new window. You can print the MAR from here, as well as view a key of symbols used on the sheet.

When back on the MAR sheet, there are also menu options to view other Care Plan details for the service user (left), as well as an option to switch to other service users (right).
