We have introduced a new technology into Care Control called Margo AI. Margo AI is an extension of Chat GPT. We are using the Chat GPT API Service to provide the following services: –
- Enhance: This feature will rewrite the text using the correct UK English and Grammar, using words that are appropriate and valid.
- Extend: This feature will do the same as Enhance, but also where possible extend what has been written.
- Generate: For certain areas of the system, you can use this option for the data on the screen to be used to generate content for the field in question.
All the above options also come with a Revert option. By pressing Revert button the text will return to the original entered text.
MargoAI is built using OpenAI tools allowing us to create a care tailored tool to help carers effortlessly.
Margo AI is currently using the model Chat GPT-4o-mini. We will continue to review the best model we should use for our customers. Other models are available, but there may be a charge for models that perform more “thinking”.
Margo is currently in Care Control Cloud, Care Control Pocket and Care Control Mobile.

In addition, how Chat GPT processes these requests are not typical when considering data processing. By default OpenAi does not use your business data for training their models, additionally Care Control have explicitly opted out from sharing data. This opt-out means that any data exchanged between Margo AI and OpenAI via the API is treated as confidential and is not used to improve or train OpenAI’s models. This additional safeguard provides assurance that customer data remains secure, private, and purpose bound. OpenAI’s API terms also guarantee that users who opt out will have their data excluded from any downstream usage, ensuring full control and ownership of sensitive information remains with Care Control.
Care Control has established TOM’s as a result of risk assessment, to ensure compliance with UK GDPR, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials. By doing so we can ensure data is processed in a secure manner this includes the protection against.
