    How to record Waterlow score in Cloud

    The Waterlow Score recording in Cloud is a valuable upgrade for care teams assessing the risk of pressure ulcers. It allows staff to complete and review assessments quickly, directly within the Care Control Cloud system, from any device. This real-time access improves visibility across teams and ensures that the most up-to-date information is always available.

    Compared to the Windows version, the Cloud version offers a cleaner and more intuitive layout, making it easier to complete assessments accurately and efficiently. It also reduces duplication and admin time by streamlining data entry and integrating directly with other areas of the system.

    Because it’s fully cloud-based, staff can access and update Waterlow Scores on the go, whether from a tablet during rounds or a desktop in the office. This flexibility supports faster, more responsive care and helps teams stay proactive in managing pressure care risks.

    Enter the Care Planning Application

     

    Select Record under the Record Care Plan Information block

     

    Enter the More Options area to see all of the recording areas

     

    Scroll down until you see Waterlow. Then click Launch

     

    Choose a Resident or Client by clicking on them

     

    Click Continue once you have selected the Resident

     

    On this page you will need to complete the checkboxes on the left-hand side. All boxes marked with an asterisk (*) require completion

     

    Options like Age and Sex cannot be modified and the information will be taken from the Client/Resident’s personal information

     

    You can view the Care Review directly from this page. This will open in a new window so you can check further details

     

    You can also Flag the Waterlow to the Care Review, ensuring that if something is wrong it is checked up on

     

    You can also associate the Waterlow with an existing Health Issue

     

    Once you are happy with the Waterlow, click Save Changes

    Enter the Care Planning Application

     
     

     

    On the Care Planning page, select Visit on the Resident Care Plans

     

    Select Change Resident to view the resident you want to view the analysis for

     

    Select them from this list and it will automatically open their care plan

     

    Click the Analysis drop-down menu

     

    Then select Monitoring Analysis

     

    On the left-hand list, select Waterlow

     

    You can select the Date Range using this drop-down list

     

    For this example we will show All Data

     

    You can view the chart here. The key for the various risks is visible at the top, and the dates are visible at the bottom of the chart

     

    Select Waterlow Detail to view specific Waterlow reports

     

    Select View Waterlow to open the report

     

    On this screen you can view the report for the Waterlow and see specifics

     

    You can also Export the report to a PDF file for printing and sending in emails
