Take a look at some of the new apps, features and improvements currently being developed for Care Control. Select a feature below to learn more about what it does, who it's for and why we're building it.
Friends & Family App
A new dedicated Care Control app designed to give authorised friends and family a simpler way to stay connected with their loved one's care, wellbeing and daily life.
Why is it useful?
Friends and family can access authorised updates when it suits them rather than relying on care staff being available to provide routine updates. This creates a more consistent way to stay connected while helping reduce repeated enquiries for care teams.
Who is it for?
The app is designed for friends and family members who have been given access by the care provider. Care teams remain in control of which resident information each person is authorised to view.
Connect App
A new Care Control mobile experience designed to bring secure device registration, staff sign-in and everyday care workflows together in one modern application.
Why is it useful?
Connect is being designed to make mobile access to Care Control simpler and more consistent. Devices are securely registered to the correct organisation and site, while individual staff sign-in helps ensure each person only accesses the information relevant to them.
Who is it for?
Connect is being developed for care and support staff who use Care Control while working on mobile devices. The app includes workflows for authorised staff, agency workers and different care service environments.
New eMAR App
We're building a new Care Control eMAR app with a more modern experience for registering devices, signing in securely and accessing medication information across supported devices.
Why is it useful?
The new app is being designed to give eMAR users a clearer and more consistent experience from the moment a device is registered and a staff member signs in. Improved handling for different screen layouts and connection issues should also make the app easier to use across everyday care environments.
Who is it for?
The new eMAR app is being developed for authorised staff who use Care Control to access and manage medication information, including care teams working across phones and tablet devices.
Intelligent Care Review
A smarter way to carry out care reviews using a configurable pre-care assessment that helps identify which areas of the care plan need to be included based on the answers recorded.
Why is it useful?
Intelligent Care Review reduces the amount of manual preparation involved in a care review. The answers recorded during the pre-care assessment can help determine which care plan domains should be included, allowing staff to focus on the areas most relevant to the individual.
Who is it for?
Intelligent Care Review is designed for care professionals carrying out care reviews, as well as administrators responsible for configuring the assessment process and managing how care plan domains are activated.
Finance & Fee Schedules
A new contract-led way to manage residential fees, payment schedules and billing within Care Control Finance, bringing the information used to calculate charges into one clearer workflow.
Why is it useful?
Residential fees, contracts and billing calculations will be managed through a more structured process. Finance teams can see how charges have been calculated, review warnings or errors and check resident-level amounts before a billing run is completed and posted.
Who is it for?
This functionality is being developed for residential care providers and the finance or administration teams responsible for resident contracts, weekly fees, payment schedules and billing.
Consolidated Invoicing
Consolidated Invoicing is being brought into the wider Care Control Finance experience, creating a clearer journey from contracts and recurring schedules through billing and final invoices.
Why is it useful?
Bringing billing into the Finance application creates a clearer separation between calculating charges and producing the final invoice. The planned improvements also give finance teams greater control over which finalised invoices are sent and help make the process easier to review and audit.
Who is it for?
This functionality is aimed at finance and administration teams responsible for contracts, billing schedules and customer invoicing, particularly organisations using Care Control's domiciliary finance workflows.
