Introduction
Permission Management in Care Control Cloud allows administrators to control which areas of the system different user roles can access.
Within Org Management, you can configure permissions for Open API, choosing whether a role should have Read Only or Edit access.
This helps you manage access to API-related functionality according to the responsibilities of each role.
In this guide, you'll learn how to:
- Open Permission Management in Care Control Cloud.
- Access Org Management permissions.
- Select a role to update.
- Locate the Open API permission settings.
- Configure Read Only or Edit access.
- Save your updated permissions.
Open Permission Management
In Care Control Cloud, navigate to Permission Management to review and manage the permissions assigned to different user roles.
Select Org Management
Within Permission Management, select Org Management to view the available permissions for this area of the system.
Edit a User Role
Find the role you want to update and select the edit icon to open its permission settings.
Expand General Permissions
Locate the General permission category and expand it to view the available settings.
Open the Open API Permission Settings
Find Open API within the General permissions and expand its Edit section to view the available access options.
Configure Read Only Access
Select Read Only if the role should have access to Open API functionality without being granted Edit permission.
Configure Edit Access
Alternatively, select Edit if the role requires permission to make changes within the Open API functionality.
Choose the access level that is appropriate for the responsibilities of the role.
Save Your Permission Changes
Once you've configured the required access level, select Save to apply the updated permissions to the role.
Top tip
Only grant Edit access to roles that require it. Use Read Only where appropriate to limit the permissions available to users within that role.
