Adding Cream Charts to Care Control
This guide will cover how to add cream medications to a service users care plan to allow them to be recorded alongside other medications. This process is completed within the administration side of Care Control Windows.

In the Administration of Care Control Windows, select Show Care Plans from the options along the bottom of the window.

Next, select the Service User from the left hand list, then, press Medication Details from the right hand options.

The service user’s medication profile will open. Here, press ‘Click to Edit Care Plan’ at the top of the window.

Press ‘Click to Change Record’ at the top of the window.

A new row should appear. Here you can enter the details of the cream.
First, select a start date for the cream to begin.
An end date can be added if required but leave this blank if not.
Next, select Cream from the Medication Type drop down menu, then, select the specific cream from the Medicine drop down menu.
Enter the Strength of the cream, as well as whether the cream is PRN (tick box) or the times of day for administration.
Finally, tick the Body Map box to create an associated body map for where the cream should be applied, then, enter a reason for the cream.

After completing the row, press ‘Click to Save Changes’ at the top of the window.

To create the associated body map, open the side menu labelled ‘Show Care Plan Options’. From this list, find and select Medication Creams.

In the same way as earlier, press ‘Click to Edit Care Plan’, then ‘Click to Change Record’ at the top of the window.
Then, find the cream you wish to edit the body map for using the blue arrows.
Here you can enter some information for application and frequency in the dedicated text boxes, as well as clicking on the body maps to add markers for cream application.
After making any changes, press ‘Click to Save Changes’ at the top of the window.
