Administering Homely Remedies to Staff
This guide covers how to administer Homely Remedy medication to staff members. This feature allows for accurate stock updates when a staff member requires some ad hoc medication.

Begin by signing into eMAR and selecting a drug trolley if your organisation has them set up. On the eMAR home page, select Sign In to Administer.

The green button should now be red. Press Administer Medication to continue.

A list of your service users will be displayed. In the bottom left of the screen, press Administer to Staff.

A list of your staff members will be displayed. Select the staff member you wish to administer to, and press Continue.

A new screen will load showing the homely remedies on your eMAR system. Select the medication to dispense by pressing the green button labelled Dispense Medicine.
The red button in the bottom right corner will update to say 1 Item ready to administer, touch here to continue. Press this to administer.

A new window will open displaying the medication selected for administration, press the red button labelled Touch Here to Continue.

A new window will open. Choose a response from the drop-down list. You can also postpone the medication using the dedicated button at the bottom of the window.
Press the red button labelled Touch to Save Responses in order to complete the administration process.
