Creating a Medication Trolley
Medication / Drug trolleys on Care Control eMAR allow service users to be split into medication administration groups. It can be useful to have multiple trolleys set up; usually distinguished by the location within a care environment (ground floor, upper floor etc.).

On the Care Control eMAR application, begin by accessing the administration side of the app. This can be done by pressing the cog wheel in the top right corner of the PIN screen.

Here, enter your PIN number as well as the administration password. Then, press Continue.

After signing in, open the menu on the left-hand side, labelled Show More Administration Options. From this list, select Drug Trolleys.

A page dedicated to medication / drug trolleys will be displayed. Here you will be able to see any trolleys currently set up. To create a new one, press the blue icon.

Enter a Trolley Name and press Continue.

Next, assign service users to the new trolley by selecting the blue arrow next to the service users’ name. Press Close to save the new trolley
