OM Bulk - Change User Status

This guide will cover how to change the status of a Care Control Cloud user account via the Organisational Management tool on Care Control Windows. This can be useful if a staff member has forgotten their password or if their registration email has expired.

In the Organisational Management tool on Care Control Windows, select Manage Users.

Here, select Bulk Changes from the options at the bottom of the window.

The bulk configuration window will open.

First, select Care Control Cloud User Records.

Then, select Change a User Status and press Continue.

A new window will open.

The options at the top allow you to apply filters to the User List on the left hand side. You can filter by department, position, current status and more. After applying filters, press Refresh.

Next, select users from the left hand list and press Add to move them into the right hand list. These are the users you will be changing the status for.

Press Continue.

The next page is where you can select the change you wish to apply. You can view the selected users by pressing View Users.

Select an action from the drop down list. A full description of each can be found below. 

In this example, we are resetting the account of the selected users.

Press Process to complete the change.

  • Reset Account – completely resets the users account, including registration status, password and account details. This will trigger the registration email to be sent again.
  •  Change Password this will send a password change link to the selected users email addresses.
  • Deactivate Account – this will remove all access for the selected users. This will not remove their details but will prevent them being able to access Care Control Cloud. This could be useful if a staff member is away from work for an extended period of time.
  • Reactivate Account this will enable access for a deactivated account.
  • Unlock Account – this will allow a user to attempt to sign in. An account is locked when an incorrect password is entered too many times.

Press Yes to confirm the changes.
