Printing a Care Plan

This guide will cover how to print components of a service users Care Plan from Care Control Windows.

1

In the Administration of Care Control Windows, select Print Care Plan from the option along the bottom of the window.

2

First, select a service user from the drop-down list. Then, select the print method:

  • Pack Print – choose a pre-saved print pack containing certain components of the care plan. For example, a ‘hospital pack’ might have all the relevant medical documentation.
  • Manual Print – choose which components are printed manually – you can also then save the choices as a pack for future use.
  • Blank Copies – blank copies of the selected components will be printed.

Next, select a printer from the drop-down list.

Note: you can choose Microsoft Print to PDF in order to produce saveable files from the Care Plan.

3

We will now choose the components to print. Begin by selecting a Care Plan area from the left-hand list. Next, press Add to move it into the printing list on the right.

Selecting an item in the Print List and pressing Edit will open up some further options about the document, including the number of copies and date range for data collection.

After completing the printing list, you can choose to save it as a Printing Pack using the button in the bottom left. Finally, press Print Documents.
