Recording a Health Issue on Windows
This guide will cover how to record, review and close a service user Health Issue on the Care Control Windows platform. Health issues allow for the logging and monitoring of injuries and other health related incidents.

In the Administration of Care Control Windows, navigate to the Record Information tool, which can be found within the options along the bottom of the window.

Here, select the Medical tab, then choose Injury / Health Issue.

Next, select the Service User you wish to record the health issue for and press Continue.

A blank health issue form will open. Begin by entering the Headline, Start Date and Review Frequency for this issue.
You can then enter a Full Description for the issue, as well as an Initial Treatment Plan in the associated text boxes.
Finally, you can mark where the health issue or injury is on the body by simply clicking on the body map.

In this example we want to record grazed elbow and want to review it daily until healed. It has been marked on the body map and now we can add a photo of the injury.
Press Load to add an image.

A new window will open. Here, press Load Image.

Your devices file explorer will open. Browse your files and find the image you wish to upload.
Select it and press Open to import it into Care Control.

You image should now show. You can have up to 3 total.
When you are happy with the form, press Save Health Issue to complete the process.

To review and close a health issue, navigate to the Show Care Plans tool.

Here, select a Service User then choose Health Issues from the options on the right hand side.

This will open the health issue area of the selected service users Care Plan. The health issue we recorded can be seen here.
To begin reviewing it, press Click to Edit Care Plan.

A new button labelled ‘Review Health Issue‘ will appear. Press this.

The health issue will open. You can amend the information originally recorded here.
You can also add an Associated Note via the button at the bottom of the window.

A note recording area will open. Simply type in the text box and add an image if necessary.
When you are happy with your note, press Add This Note.

From here you can save the health issue by pressing Review Health Issue, or you can close it by pressing Close Health Issue.

If you are closing it, a Comment must be added.
Press Close Health Issue after inputting any comments.

The Health Issue will now be kept under the Historic tab.
