Introduction
This guide explains how to create and manage Monitoring Defaults within Care Control Cloud.
In this guide you'll learn how to:
- Add a new Monitoring Default
- Configure monitoring times and frequency
- Apply defaults to active residents
- View existing monitoring defaults
- Edit or delete monitoring defaults
Open Monitoring Defaults from the Care Planning menu.

Select Add Default.

Select the monitoring area.

Choose an area from the list.

Select Continue.

Set the monitoring time.

Set the monitoring frequency.

Enter the reason for the monitoring.

Select Save Changes.

Select Apply Missing Defaults to Active Residents.

Select Yes to confirm.

Select the view icon.

Select Edit or Delete as required.

Top tip
Monitoring Defaults can still be removed for an individual service user if it isn’t required. If you have made lots of individual amendments to monitoring for your service user, be careful using the ‘apply missing defaults to all active service users’ button because it may undo your hard work and re-add things you have removed!
