This guide will cover how to set mandatory staff training courses via the Training Records tool in Care Control Cloud.

From the Admin app landing page, navigate to the Staff Training area.
Please note: the Staff Training tool will be moving to our new HR application. Until then this feature will remain in the Admin application.

Your Training Records will open. Next, select Set Mandatory Courses from the options along the top of the page.

A list of already configured mandatory courses will be displayed.
Press Add Mandatory Course to create a new one.

Begin by selecting the Course from the first drop down list.
Then, choose your assignment from the Staff Area drop down. This allows you to set a mandatory course for a Staff Category, Staff Role or specific Staff Member.
After choosing an assignment type, you can choose the cateogory / role / member from the Associated Index drop-down,
Finally, choose a Renew Period (in months) for this course.

In this example, we are creating a mandatory Kitchen Safety course which is assigned to everyone with Cook as their Staff Category. This course will expire after 12 months.
After completing the form, press Save.

Your new mandatory course will appear in the list.
You can view the alert status of mandatory courses by selecting the View Alert Status tab from the options along the top of the page.

Here, a list of courses assigned to staff will be displayed.
They will show here when the course is due to expire soon, or, if it has already expired.
You can view more information about the alert by pressing the eye icon.
