How to Print a Current and Historic Risk Assessment

This guide explains how to access and print Risk Assessments from the Care Planning system.

Being able to quickly retrieve and download Risk Assessments is essential for maintaining accurate care records, supporting audits, and ensuring important information is readily available when needed. It also helps teams share key details in a clear, professional format.

By following this guide, you will learn how to:

  • Navigate to the Care Planning area from the app tray
  • Access Resident Care Plans and open Risk Assessments
  • Select specific or historic Risk Assessments to view
  • Choose from available assessment types
  • Download Risk Assessments as a PDF document

This ensures you can efficiently access, review, and share Risk Assessment records whenever required.

You can currently only print the following historic risk assessments:

  • Bed Rail Risk Assessments
  • Generic Risk Assessments
  • PURPOSE-T Assessments
  • Medication Risk Assessment

Open the App tray

Select Care Planning.

Click Visit under Resident Care Plans.

Open the Essentials dropdown.

Select Risk Assessments.

Select the area you want to print from the left-hand side. You can also access historic Risk Assessments. Available options include Bed Rail, Generic, PURPOSE-T, and Medication Risk Assessments.

Select Print to download the Risk Assessment as a PDF.

The PDF file will include all details of the Risk Assessment in a printable format.
