March 2024 Release Notes – Care Control Learning Hub

App Update March 2024

At Care Control Systems, we’re dedicated to continually updating and enhancing our software to better serve your needs. While we have numerous updates to share with you, we’ve highlighted the top features that we believe will provide the most significant benefits for you.

Care Control Cloud

Review the changes to our web based application

         Cloud – Admin

  • This update includes the addition of site Privacy Officer feature, a new dedicated role which must be assigned to one staff member within an organisation. This is in conjunction with a requirement for tighter access controls on historic service user information access. Now, when a staff member attempts to access historic service user records, they will be required to enter a reason. This reason, as well as information about their access will notify the organisations Privacy Officer. For more information about this new feature, see here.
  • This update also includes a new addition when creating Contacts on the system. Now, if the contact falls within a few contact types, users will be required to enter an associated NHS ODS code. This code, designated by the NHS, will allow Care Control to import certain information fields for the contact. For more information, see here.
  • Addition of a temporary version of the Service Status tool to the landing screen. This status screen mirrors the one available in the Care Planning application.
  • Performance improvements to the Alerts & Notifications tool.
  • Performance improvements to the Manage Monitoring tool.
  • Performance improvements to Care Note Analysis tool.

         Cloud – Care Planning

  • This update includes the addition of new Single Custom Form functionality, including new question and form types. New question types: body map, photo upload, document upload, multi-select drop down, complex multi-select drop down, follow up actions, signature. New form types: risk assessments, incidents. See here for an explanation of the new, and existing, question types.
  • Single Custom Forms can now be saved in a draft format, allowing users to save progress and continue working on it at a later date, without submitting the form as completed. For more information on this feature, see here.
  • Adjusted the order of reference notes in a Care Review. Now, when adding notes to a Care Review section, they will display with the most recently recorded note at the top, regardless of what order they were referenced.
  • Addition of reasoning form when accessing a historic service user as part of the new Privacy Officer feature. Users will be required to enter a reason for access when attempting to view a historic service users Care Plan.
  • Performance improvements across the Care Planning application.

         Cloud – All Apps

  • Addition of a logout button to the top bar across all Cloud screens. Users can now log out in a single click from anywhere within Care Control Cloud, allowing for quick and easy exiting of the system.
  • Performance improvements across the Cloud platform.
