May 2024 Release Notes

Application Update May 2024 At Care Control Systems, we’re dedicated to continually updating and enhancing our software to better serve your needs. While we have numerous updates to share with you, we’ve highlighted the top features that we believe will provide the most significant benefits for you. Care Control Cloud Review the changes to our web-based platform          Application – HR Staff Record Management – users can now access Staff Records on Cloud. This feature includes the ability to manage existing Staff Records (personal details, roles and security editing) and also the ability to add new staff members to your system.  Staff File Integrity Checks – users can now analyse and action Staff File Integrity Checks on Cloud. This tool identifies areas of a staff members record which is due or overdue to be updated. Application – Admin Training Records – users can now view and manage Staff Training on Care Control Cloud. This includes adding courses, setting courses as mandatory, viewing the staff training log as well as recording training events. Organisational Structure – users can now access a first version of the Organisational Management tool within the Admin application on Care Control Cloud. This first version allows control of the organisation structure, including the management of hierarchy and individual organisation units. Communication  – Administer Messages – users can now view and manage all outgoing messages on their system from within Cloud. This includes the ability to see which staff members have read the messages sent to them. See our full guide on the Administer Message tool in Cloud here. Communication – Staff Pocket Management – users can now view and manage Staff Pocket Registrations within Cloud. This includes controlling auto-registration, number of allowed devices and individual staff devices. See our full guide on Staff Pocket Management here. Care Planning (Admin) – Fast Facts – users can now create and assign custom Fast Fact templates to a service users Care Plan. This allows each service user to have their own set of Fast Facts unique and relevant to them. See our full guide on Fast Facts here. Care Planning (Admin) – Manage Monitoring – this updates contains some minor changes to the Manage Monitoring tool in Cloud. Users can now add ‘Additional Facts’ when setting up a service users monitoring, this could be for important information relevant to the SU. Also, 3 prompts can now be toggled for Fluid, Food and Bath monitoring. See our full guide on Manage Monitoring here (changes are covered in Step 6).          Application – Care Planning Organisational Level Service Status – users can now view an improved version of the Service Status, including the new Map View. This feature allows users to view tasks and issues at all the sites within their organisation (or the sites they have access to). See our full guide on the Organisational Level Service Status here. Application Performance Improvements There was an issue reported where MCAs were showing to be renewed in Home Status despite having newer versions which were still active. This fix ensures that when a new MCA is created for a service user, all previous MCAs with the same headline for that specific service user are expired. Fixed and issue when you adding or amending a Cream in Cloud (completed through Medication Profile), the Frequency field was being overwritten by the Application detail. This was occurring in the database. The Missed Medication report has been updated with the Drugs Trolley, so if a medication is missed then the last staff member to sign into that Drugs Trolley during the administration window will be shown as the Med Person. If no Drugs Trolley assignment exists for the SU, the last person to sign into eMAR during the administration window will be used. Currently the system will only allow Incidents to be viewed if they occurred in the last three years. This has been updated to allow dates back to the month of the first Incident i.e. if the first Incident was recorded in October 2016 then the list of dates to select in the filter will go back to “Oct 2016”. Fixed an issue relating to the list of staff in the Keyworker list showing multiple versions of each staff member as all secondary roles were being included. This was happening in CC Cloud (Care Planning > Personal Details > Edit). Care Control Mobile Review the changes to our tablet-based platform Multi-Recording – introducing the brand new Multi-Recording functionality. This tool allows users to record multiple monitoring areas at once for the same service user via a ‘basket’ style concept. Record some information, add it to the basket and then record another monitoring area. After completing a few areas, submit all the areas at once from the basket. Please note, in this first version of this feature, only some core monitoring areas are available for multi-recording.
